Can't Beat the Rain
Well, the good news is that the air conditioning in my dormitory was fixed. The bad news is that it was fixed almost immediately before a huge cluster of storms began to move through my area. Good news, Sunday has been the only day with any actual thunder and lightning, so I don't have to worry about that. Bad news, there's just so much rain; rivers are forming on sidewalks and in the streets, and even with a rain jacket or umbrella, you're lucky to reach your destination only half-soaked. I wasn't too fond of those heat waves, but these sudden storm fronts are not much better, especially since now it's freezing cold everywhere. It's like we've gone from one extreme to another, and I'm not sure it's a very fair trade-off. I guess I still prefer this over the heat waves, since I like not having to guzzle a dozen sodas a day to stay hydrated, but I wouldn't mind returning to the "normal" weather that we had before all this crap happened.
EDIT: To make matters worse, I suspect that I'm coming down with a cold of some sort. My sinuses are congested, and everyone in class is sick. Dash it all if I get sick; I can't afford sick days with how busy my classes are.
