Need some car advice

Im thinking about selling my 1994 Geo Prism (97000 mileage), question is should I bother getting it repainted or sell as is? Im the orignal owner yet had it for a while now and kind of wanting something newer. One problem is minor things are breaking and I know very little about cars so tend to have to look to someone else for these repairs.
I replaced the head liner already so thats solid, those things seem to fail first on a car.
The hood, roof and the truck top have spots where the bare metal is showing.
Lost the right turn signal not sure why yet to take it in to the shop as such seems a minor issue. I just had to replace the bulb for the left turn signal so thinking the person possibly messed the wiring some how.
Clock does not work.
Lock for glove compartment broke.
Dome light does not work.
Outside door handle broke, getting that fixed today.
So should I bother with getting it repainted? Looking at the price guide Im not too sure a paint job will affect my sale price by much. I would simply keep the car if I was more knowledgeable about the repair work and could do such myself.

Proceeding there is nothing seriously wrong with the car; you could probably sell it to a private party for a grand. Just make sure that you have a written contract and note that the car is "as is"
Not really sure how to go about writing a contract, I would need to hire a notery for such as well?
Painting the car will not have a net gain unless you can get it done cheap, say less than $400.
The turn signal is likely a bulb issue. Check the bulbs front and rear on that side.
Who needs a clock in a car?
Who needs to lock the glove box?
The dome light probably needs a bulb or fuse.
I have already stated you should keep it. That is one of the most economical cars in north america, so driving every last mile out of it is a no-brainer. You should get at least another 50-100,000 miles before you start having to worry about diminishing returns as long as you have maintained the car fairly well. Sure, it's not going get you any dates, but it will get you from point A to point B.
So Im a little undecided as thinking if I keep the car and just repaint it so last I have the curb appeal back I could possibly make it to Further Confusion.
