Irene turned out to be a non-issue in my area, although a rotten tree branch up the road took out power for 24 hours at the end of the storm. Moderate winds and rain, but nothing of epic proportions and definitely not the worst I've seen. Once the storm made landfall, it fell apart, although I will add that northern NH and especially Vermont got hit hard by flooding. Here though...I'm glad to report, not much of anything.

I know I've been scarce online lately. I've been fighting a bout of depression and haven't been feeling very social lately, so please do not take it personally. I just really haven't felt like getting online much. Hopefully I'll snap out of the funk sooner rather than later, but for the mean time, bear with me.
