Sorry for my not being around much lately... explanation is long overdue.
I've got some eye troubles. They've been getting progressively worse over the past three & a half years, much more so within the past two weeks. I've never said anything because it hasn't affected me too horribly 'till as of late... figured i'd spare bothering you guys my ailments, but now i seek help.
Anyone here have floaters? Like... really bad ones? How about hundreds upon hundreds of little swarming spots filling your entire field of vision when attempting to look at anything even remotely bright? Kinda rare in young folks, but... just thought i'd ask. No opthamologist has been of any help. They just treat me as though I'm wasting their time.
Art has become somewhat of a struggle, which in turn has brought on a great deal of anxiety and panic. It's very difficult to think straight. Haven't been able to make anything for a while now and I'm scared shitless that these problems may cost me my job. I'm trying to not let it get to me but goddamn it's really fucking difficult.
These recent events have called for me to alter several aspects of my life... considerably. Early to bed, change in diet, no THC for several months :( , and a lot less starring at screens. This means I'm going to be quite scarce for a while. At least until some manner of healing occurs. So I won't really be on top of favorites, comments, replies, etc. Sorry guys.
Rest assured, I'm not disappearing completely. This place has a tendency to cheer me up, and there's simply no ignoring all the beautiful artwork in perpetual upload. FA is like a vena cava coursing with creative energy, thanks to the awesome artist folk. You guys rock (:
I realize that things could be MUCH worse, and i am extremely thankful to actually posses eyesight, as well as all the comfort, love and support which permeates my life... some people aren't so lucky. I do my very best to keep this in mind AT ALL TIMES.

Seriously, I wouldn't fuck around with that stuff. If the doctors you've seen so far have been unable to offer diagnosis, find a specialist. Hopefully you've got health insurance of some sort going on, but even if things get a bit pricey, those are your only eyes, man. I'd definitely suggest NOT just giving up on professional medicine because of a few lame experiences, though I definitely feel bad that those experiences have been so unhelpful thus far.
Hopefully there will be a simple and painless solution to your problem, dude. You've got random internet folks rooting for you in the meantime, but uhh... yeah, I'd say forget about internet folk for now and go find yourself an ophthalmology specialist, dude ^_^ Gotta take care of them eyeballs...
In the meantime I'm getting some accupuncture... never know what might help.
As soon as i get printed results from the past few doctors, I'm off to a retinal specialist. An MD who might just take me seriously for a change :/

Careful. Lots of floaters can be a sign of something much more serious (like retina detachment). Find a few more opthamologists. There's bound to be one who cares and has enought knowledge to solve this problem. (Have you tried drawing the floaters on a random photo to convince them it's serious?)

You may have already suspected this, but I would keep asking for a second opinion from various doctors with this hypothesis.
This whole episode sounds supremely freaky, I hope it ain't serious,
and I hope that your dog gets over her funk.
