Still not worse sweetie. Yeah it was a lot of people and damage, and it was something bad. Looking at numbers, and price yeah it was the worst. Oh and looking at PTSD for the event. I now live in a hurrican prone area...guess what...I choose to live here. I know I might lose everything I have including my life and my childrens as well, but it is a choice. They didn't get a choice the day the planes just kinda appeared there. Those who live in the area Katrina hit knew it could happen...just like living in an earthquake prone area...it is your choice. My first husbands grandpa draws a pension from WW2 because he was sent into a suicide mission and lived, and even he will tell you 9-11 was worse.

And the civil war? Oh wait more people died in that war then in 2 9/11s combined! And plus katrina broke the fucking levi! No one knew that it was going to create that much damage. God damn do your fucking reserch.

Actually Bush was informed 3 days before it hit that the levee wouldn't hold...talk about doing your research. There is a reason they only built where they did to begin with....it's a friggin bowl..that would hold water...they destroyed the swamp land made to stop the hurricanes with building...hmmmm seems simple to me...don;t live there....the old ones knew it when they built the french quarter. Oh and did you forget I have children and can't spend my life online claiming I know it all like some others?

Before you jump me about research do some of your own. Actually look into the numbers and what really happened...not the awesome fiction stories our Government would love you to believe.

Bush never said anything....he was informed by the Army Corps of Engineers that the levee would not be able to withstand a storm above a category 3. He neglected to inform anyone else, but they DID know it was a flood area that never should have been built upon. People want what they want, and make what they want, and for that people tend to get in the way of those things. It's like owning oceanfront property and then bitching when your siding gets blown off in a storm...common sense people. As I stated before...there is a reason that the original city is where it is. Ignore facts you drown plain and simple.
