Moving, dead batteries, roomies, and other wonderful things

Don't expect this to make one lick o' sense. I would hate to dash your dreams from your mind and throw them to the fishes in the lake. But, hey! That's what expectations do.
Goodness goodness...it's been a while.
So, I am moved into a new house. Paying rent, groceries,, class fees, all that jazz. I have no car to drive, so I am forced to take the bus ANYWHERE I want to go (which is ok, I get a free pass through the university). The room I have is small, but it serves me very well (never was one for huge rooms, to be honest). Twin bed, dresser, bed side table, desk; would seem rather minimalist if the room were much larger. It is quite utilitarian as it is, which I like somewhat.
My housemates are cool. My cousin (owner of the house) and two of his friends. Two friends both named Cody. One tall, one shorter/close to my height; Big Cody and Little Cody. All of them are musicians/players, which is very nice - we have a jam/music room. I need to bring my instruments up though, they are still at my parents' place [all my guitars, amps, clarinet].
I need batteries for my camera -it is dead- but when I get some I will take lots of pictures. Probably post a few, but link to the other large number I take and post elsewhere: does anyone even use Photobucket anymore?
There is a nice cemetery nearby/right off campus. Really pretty stuff in there, but I haven't been able to take time to go through it, let alone with a camera. The scenery in my yard is fair, but nothing to brag about. the scenery around campus on the other hand - that is some beautiful stuff right there. I am very much so looking forward to taking some pictures of it. I may even have to pull out one of my 35mm cameras.
Guess that is the rambling on I need to do at the moment. Maybe more later?
