Well.. I finaly figured it out.. figured out why my impression on anime is SOOO fucking bad. why I hate almost every anime I watch... Also why I hate so... sososososo many shows that by every right I should love...
Editing... yes editing, bad editing! I'm looking at you 4kids, I now know why I looked at Pokemon and felt like it wasn't a coherent show, I know why despite all my friends saying it was great, I hated One Peace with such passion... All those lil nagging problems and plot holes that I just couldn't stand, pushing me away from what where originally Rather good shows.
and why I currently have DBZ Kai and Sonic X on my Black lists of shows I'd rather chug bleach then watch.
It's companies like 4Kids and Funimation (only to an extant I admit Funimation is FAR superior to 4kids) who take what were popular and grand in places all around the world and cut them up, edit them, change whole stories and dumb them down to make them more "kid" friendly. Problem with me, Despite being a babyfur, I am far from having a "kid" mentality when watching Cartoons.
I expect a cartoon to bring up emotions, to make me think, to drive my ideas of the world forward, this was done greatly by animation such as "Trigun" and "Wolf's Rain".
Anywho... on topic... I know my reason for hatting most anime I see and why when I later rewatch said anime (usualy dubed or subed by a difrent company) I realise it wasnt as bad as I remember (Ghost in The Shell, Outlaw Star (witch I LOVED LOVED LOVED even when I first watched but it's even better in it's origenal form), and I'll even admit, One Peace, a show that to anyone who has ever known me knows that I've held a grudg aginst for being the second most RETARDED show I had ever seen... this was of course before I knew that the retardation i had hated was in fact the complete bastardization done by 4kids.
So I guess I have a goal... I'ma go back and watch a few anime that I disliked for one reason or another in their origenal forms, most likly the dubed copies to get the best expirience....
And to my mate Jaden... NO I will not watch Inuyasha fuck that show in every single fucking way possible I HATE IT. Same goes with Bleach. They have interesting content I'll admit, but they both come down to being the same overdone crappy suto Samaria bull shit that every other Anime and their mother is. I like a bit of originality in the shows I watch, not a copy past story with copy past characters that have been done into the ground a million times.
anywho, before the comments flood with people saying I should watch this Anime or that Anime (I'm kidding I know no one reads these :p) I'ma make a short list of Anime I will never watch simply because I hate them in every form they take :3

I want 'VERY BADLY' to play one of the .hack// games, but I own no PS2 that I can use >.< I'll probably start with .hack//G.U.Vol.1 cause .hack//ROOTS was EPIC in my opinoin ^^

But I found there's a fun drinking game out there if anyone's ever up to it. All you have to do is take a shot every time someone says "barrier."
There is alot of anime though that's beautiful and original, it just takes a while to find it, even more so in a way you prefer it. Occasionallly you get a series come out like Sousei no Aquarion and whatnot. but id say 70% of it has low entertainment value.
Any series that a company called "ban-dai" gets its hands on for sponsorship is usually over merchandised and looks to be one giant toy add l (you would probably blacklist the series if they sponsored it). That particular company if you researched correctly pretty much merchandises 70% of the market in both Japan and the US and has its money in most of your "shitlist". "Tomy" does the rest of the marketing (usually for younger kids but they have some good product) I believe but there are other nameless companies.
My thoughts though:
All of the .//hack anime and material was really good, their soundtracks were even better (I have all of them subbed as well as the soundtracks). The games though I've never played them were incredibly difficult according to some of my contacts (and if i can remember right not all of them saw north American releases, which required hacks to use, not just the console).
Your missing Gundam from the list there, unless that's something you consider "toy based" given the huge numbers of models they sell for it. Gundam is okay for mindless action, lots of tech and hidden Japanese political commentary (umm 00's main character is Kurdish ?) but the story writing isn't that great.
I'm also absent seeing another TV Tokyo franchise on here - the 8 or so iterations of Rockman. Subbed of course because 4kids also gave to it up the ass. maybe blacklist all "4kids Licenced from TV Tokyo" in that list of yours too for originals.
FMA anime is on my black list tbh, The original sucked and Brotherhood slightly improved it. After reading the [b]original[/b] manga scantilated though (despite having both series in subs) I have pretty much blacklisted the anime portion.
It falls under the same rule that says 90% of book adaptations ruin the material and suck ballz. Several of your blacklisted series have manga originals that fall under the same rule for example.
and Don't bash FMA :p I love it. yes the original was meh but brotherhood was epic (if not completely unpaced at the beginning, but they were just trying to rush through the story they already had done in the first anime so they could get to the new story) .. the manga was better then both but understand that they were doing an adaptation not a complete remake (unlike most crappy Manga Anime) it was meant to be different, that was the point.
I liked pokemon as a kid, and i still like pokemon but i cant stand to watch the show.
