People, once again, are disapointing me.

Now, I'm all for giving your opinion. I'm all for allowing someone to say what they like about something. I'm all for TALKING about when you have a problem with something.
But raging about a banner that's gonna be here a week? Seriously?
And the people saying, "I don't need to watch it, it's a grown up show and I'm grown up", yet are bawwing harder than everyone else? You're bitching more than the "eight year old little girls" you claim the show is for. They've got more maturity than you do. And that's fucking pitiful.
I have a shit ton of friends who basically hump the goddamn show like a dog you give treats to constantly. They talk about it all the time. They show me pictures almost everyday. I get a link to a Youtube video nearly once a month. And they're worse than a lot of fans COULD be. But you know what? I honestly don't care that they like it. It's what they like and I'm fine with that.
This banner is not that fucking bad! It's not shitting sparkles and rainbows and happiness. It's not even bright or anything! It's just a dull banner that happens to mention MLP.
And for the people saying that "it promotes a bad imagery for the site"? That's a load of horse shit. Anyone that goes to this site is either a furry and already knows what it is or, by small percentage, not. And those that look at the banner and go "WTF" can look to the RIGHT of the front page, don't even have to scroll, and READ THE DAMN ANNOUNCEMENT. Not that hard.
TL;DR? It's a goddamn banner. It's nothing disgusting. It's nothing horrible. It's. Not. That. Bad.
