So, about a year ago (the tag on FA says it's a year ago, at least) I purchased an adoptable that was supposed to be colored from an artist who, for now, will remain anonymous. Well, after a couple of months while I was still gone sort of, I poked them to see how things were going. I'm pretty sure three months went by when I did. They responded with saying that they were working on the item along with a bunch of other things. I said okay. Two more months went by and still no sign of the character OR any explanations. I poked them again asking about the adoptable. They said the same thing. It's literally been a year. Now, I know I didn't spend a lot of money on this since it was only five dollars, but should it really take this long? AND they've been pushing out OTHER art that's not related to many of their commissions? I sent them a message last night. If I don't get an appropriate response, what do you guys think I should do?

I've seen their commission list and it's TERRIBLY long, but is it my fault they took on more than they should have? I mean, I'm all for being patient. Hell, I've taken a while for some peoples' commissions. But I'll message them every once in a while and I usually don't take more than five at a time.

I know I sound like I'm ranting, but I'm a little upset that I spent extra money I usually don't end up having on something that's taken a year+ for me to see with little to no updates on the progress...
