Terra Nova sin't gonna air on Sky TV in the UK n Ireland till October. It's like a new 'Jurrassic Park'.

Saw it last night and I gotta say it was pretty good. Was impressed by some of the visuals, especially the future earth ones. It does kinda feel that its banking on that Avatar feel tho.

Yeah, that was gonna be a good show on FOX.

So far I am not impressed with it at all. The future made no sense to me. Having more than two kids is not a big crime as they first make it out to be. Then they won't let them take their extra child with them into the past where she will be out of their way. Why would they want to keep her around? So they can use up more resources on her, now that her family would be gone? The compound makes no sense. Why build it so far from the time crack? Knowing their foes will try to cut it off or close it down? They say it is dangerous outside of the compound, but it is build so the dino's will have no real trouble over running it if they had a mind to do so. There is a small group that is causing some trouble, but they don't take them out while they still have more man power and weapons? Places around the compound are off limits, but no one is posted near them to keep others away. Why? And here they all are to make a new start, but they all live like they are still in the hated future. Why? I could go on and on with so many things I didn't like about this new show. I might look at it a few more times, but I no hope for it at all.

WOW!!!! Because many families has to be safe from the tragedy in the future then all of them found themselves a new house.... After their new home was build, he said "Welcome to Terra Nova, welcome home". It's like being stranded in the island FAR away from a place, then they found food, something to make a shelter in it..

Come on, future is future and past is past.

No my friend. I see you believe that lie he told them. Did you see how everything look around there? Every thing other than the wall and the outside look of the buildings were manufacture. And they had mining (The 6ers took over the meteorite mines), and we all know what mining does to the land. Add in they are in the middle of forest and the only power they have are from there generators (The 6ers are stealing our power from our generators), how are they creating power in the first place? They are not near a large river or lake so they could use it to help turn the turbos to make the generators work in the first place? Next to no solar power is being used and no is using wind to make power as well. So all this past stuff is nothing more than a water down version of where they left from. After all you history shows up when folks go to another land (or in this case an alternate time line), they create what they know and in this case, they are only making the future all over again in this new alternate time line. So don't believe the hype, any colony will turn into a version of the place one leaves. History shows this taking place over and over again and they are already under way of making all the mistakes the future did in how they doing things already. Do I have to point out they had to rip up some of the forest (deforestation) to create the compound in the first place? Yes, it is a great and grand adventure for the folks from the future, but when all is said and done, they will only recreate the home they are all very use to. It will be the grandchildren of these folks that will make the real changes before it is to late.

This is why I like other shows like Glee and House M.D. better...
