About Commissions

Don't be weird. Thanks.
Okay, seeing that my savings account has been at a level $200 for the past three months I have decided to just put it out there, again, that I am ALWAYS open for commissions.
And that I kind of sort of would like to maybe actually have some money I can actually SAVE and SIT ON just in case SOMETHING BAD happens.
I don't like not having a stash of money away JUST IN CASE shit hits the fan.
My car insurance, phone and electric bills, as well as food and the occasional mini splurge of things (I admit that I do sometimes splurge, but more and more I am finding that I have too much shit and I need to get rid of it) just doesn't end up giving me enough money to sit on by the end of the month.
It sucks, because half the time I take $100 out of my savings JUST IN CASE and then stick it back in there when my check clears.
So, every goddamn penny I make for commissions will go straight into my savings.
Second Life avatar commissions is something NEW to me, and it is a terribly tedious task, but I am willing to just grind myself into it to make money from it. I have had people ask me in the past, and I declined because I'm afraid of doing them. It's like having the option to take that intimidating final exam in college, because if I did, I'd say 'no thanks!'
This is the story behind the 'updated' prices. I switched things around. Adult and Clean commissions are now the same price (that means adult commissions are now CHEAPER) and the old Adult prices are for multiple characters.
I am very disappointed in the lack of badge commissions. I seriously have a lot of fun with making them, and I have EVERYTHING to make them with, and I have only sold smaller ones. $25 for a cut out huge badge is goddamn cheap, in comparison to what I have seen!
A lot of people ask me if I will ever go to a Furry Convention. Well, one- who's paying for that? Honestly, I'm not interested unless I can make my money back or double it. I reply to people saying 'you paying for me?' because it's seriously a bit of cash to go someplace like that. And I'm not even remotely interested in the furry crowd. Friends that I have made I would like to meet, or meet again, if I go to one. Hell, I don't even go to Anime Boston anymore because of how pricey it is. If I want something, I'll pirate it or find it on ebay. Durr durr.
I debate on doing livestream commissions. It's a very wonky process on my PC. Open Canvas is also a pain in the dick. But I'm sure if I tweak that, I can try that out.
tl;dr
Please to be commissioning ;3; ?

FA+

But I'm broked.
Maybe I'll tell you what I want and you can draw later?
...When I figure out what I want, that is.
Will be sending a note later v:
NOW CONSIDER THEM COMMISSIONED
I don't care what you have 'em do, just make sure it's extra super cool. Anything goes!
ACTUALLY... ask me in notes.
Also, I'm considering Anime Boston this year...
Is it true that the hotels are like, some crazy $1200 per person or something? MEGA WHACK.
But it's like, usually almost two hours to wait in line unless you sign up online before hand.
My friend actually did the volunteer thing so she could go for free. If you stay the three days doing it you got to keep the tee shirt :P
Last time, honee and I stayed with a friend of a friend of hers. It was a disaster, because honee's friend is a liar. I got more enjoyment out of picking out every contradiction she made than the convention itself. Not to mention we had to babysit a 19 year old, who was the one we were staying with. We got lost in boston because that dumbass girl wanted to go her way- later on telling us that she isn't familiar with the place at night. The cab money came out of my wallet. So did that girl's food.
Also, the taxi competition is like.... fucking insane there.
I wouldn't mind trying to get a table. Maybe we could try to get one together? If I can make my money back or more, I'd be glad to. I think it's $30 for a table... last i checked.
im getting october 22 off, because apparently it's SOOPER HARD to get a table so ya gotta stalk the site.
I'm aiming for 6 ft, but I can work with 4.
2 feet = $40, 4 feet = $80, 6 feet = $120, 8 feet = $160
*goes off to read all the damned rules on the site again*
AH-HA! It appears I can share a table without getting my head bitten off.
Good lord I can't believe I woke up at 5 today...
the con itself is april 6-8 2012
Really, thats what I thought exactly. That's hardly even enough elbow room!!
I can get reasonably creative with limited space- learned that at a teeny tiny stockroom in pier1.
I'm way shooting for 6 feet though!!
4 feet is extremely compromising, but no way in hell am I getting only 2.
