Yes, I did. She posted a journal on FA linking to the harassment off site. She had been warned -- multiple times -- to cease doing that. I can only give so many warnings. She chose to ignore them. If she had just posted them to her Twitter that would have been fine, but she made an FA journal specifically to link to the content to attempt to circumvent site rules. After multiple instances of that I can't keep turning a blind eye and hoping she'll comply with site rules.

It's about a problem of someone ripping people off. Perhaps if it was something along the lines of mindless bashing of people with the normal drama you furries tend to have, then yes it would have been a rightful act to ban them.
This isn't about banning Kayla-Na. It's more about how awful your staff is. They reflect onto you, making you look bad. Rules are constantly changed.
You banned someone from off-site content being linked onto FA, with intent of showing people a problem. A serious problem. A problem that constantly gets looked over with the thousands of people who participate in this circus you call a website.
You go through phases. One month, we're banning bestiality, then the next it's about cub porn. After than, Sonic "STYLED" porn gets deleted. Then, after a wile, we all get lazy about content, before going on a ban/delete spree again without reason.

I have had content removed from my submissions for reasons that were not in the rules. None of my submissions broke anything, but yet, it was removed.

Then there's giving people "second chances" to only ban them later when they question authority.

If you want this community to thrive in a positive way, you seriously need to make new rules, AND POST THEM, as well as a clean slate on Administration, or at least a stricter guide line they must follow.

After seeing what reasons Furocity had for leaving this website, do you not realize how bad things are getting? Your empty promises of a new layout. How many years did it take just to get a damn search function back online? This has been going on for far too long.

Because I'm sorry, even by your standards recently, this one is reaching for straws, and I've even supported you in the past on some of these would be changes. Hell, turn a blind eye, seems like you've had an eagle all all along if THIS is the thing that would get somebody even warned about, let alone banned.

I will say that I was not pleased learning about this news and was pretty hot-headed at the time, but I still do not agree with the actions taken. Even if it is a link to someone's twitter on FA pointing out the link to me is a gray area at best, not a straight ban n wipe. Even when the person in question was trying to keep from this kind of thing happening. I think that the best course of action would have been a deletion of the journal and a warning given that a "violation" like this is (like I said) a bit of a gray area.

I have seen the "report" in question (read it the night prior) and given the circumstances, especially seeing as how such the accusations of the FA user in question are rather serious (and backed up with research and evidence), wanting to warn other FA users about even the possibility of this person doing something immoral, underhanded and/or criminal acts (all of which, if the report is true, describe exactly what this user has done). The report does, after all, refer to the possibility of a user on this site potentially committing fraud in order to gain money for convention expenses. It's a very serious, ongoing issue if true and it does have enough of a reason that other people would want to prevent further people to have their good nature and charity exploited in such a disgusting way.

That isn't to say that the accused in question does not have their rights as well. Obviously this does stir up the "shit pot" as it were and they obviously do not deserve to be bullied because of it, especially if these accusations are false. Still, given the situation (seeing as this is pretty much a criminal act), letting people know that there IS this possibility, true or false, is the right thing to do if it means more people are not being tricked.


In a situation like this, I again believe that proper communication with the guilty party (the banned artist, not the accused FA user) would have been much more effective in this situation. I understand that "final warnings" were given prior, but it's not like we're talking about an anarchist trying to bring down the system with hate propaganda - it's someone trying to spread the message that there might be something strange and it don't look good. And if the accused turns out to be innocent, the situation would sort itself out over time and would fade into nothingess. However, if these accusations were proven true, then it's something the mods do have a reason to mobilize for (though not on the whistleblowers).

Again, all of this felt a lot like "Big Brother", or for a more popular comparison, the government from V for Vendetta - making people "disappear" if their opinions and maneurisms were not "status quo", especially anyone sharing any opinion against sed government.


Anyways, I'm just a user, so I can't change the world... but I hope that at least my views on the matter merit some thought.

It is something that is not covered by the rules and so cannot be punished. Fuck you and your fucking bullshit. It was not harassment offsite. It was a PDF that showed a very well-researched and well-argued presentation with proof as to how this person has been conning people out of thousands of dollars. It's a fucking sad day in society when people who could potentially be criminals are protected and those who would try to warn others of said criminals are punished. You've done a serious disservice to FA as a community, and to the ideal of justice.

I have been trying to tell people for a while now how crap FA is. There have been a bunch of us just fed up with this site and the way it is handled. It attracts nothing but drama and then defends that drama. I left voluntarily. I even deactivated my account. I am only on here now as a watcher to support those who won't leave yet.

Your "loophole" excuse mean = It's not actually breaking a rule we have on the site, but I don't like it because it's doing something I don't like but isn't specifically covered, so it's a loophole. PLEASE. A rule is either A RULE that can be followed or enforced, or it isn't. If some rule you wrote was crappily written to where someone does something you don't like that you feel wasn't covered, that's not the person's fault that's yours.

Their rules for drama is nipping the problem in the bud. It's a small place now, but because they have a well thought out rule system NOW means they'll have less issues in the future to deal with (in comparison to FA at least.)

I dont like how this 'bringing drama to the site' rule is enforced. If linking anything thats offsite that could have 'drama' attached to it then they should start policing peoples twitters and facebooks immediately. If someone says something bad about someone else they should be banned right away. Also, anyone who links to lulz, ED or artists beware should also be banned as clearly these are 'drama' websites. Yet I never see anyone else banned for this ONLY Kayla.

Artist Beware it's not a drama site. While some of the posts can get lengthy, they are informative. AB is there to help commissioners and commissionees defend themselves from getting ripped off.

I've already said that I don't care that she has been banned. My problem is the fact that Dragoneer keeps going back and forth, and not sticking to a choice. He keeps welcoming people back, and is a fucking push over. He doesn't keep his word with anything. How trustworthy is that?
