Anyone out there have problems with idea generation?

I was considering writing an entry on story idea creation. But it occurred to me that many may not have this problem. I don't.
So I'm asking if there's actually anyone with this problem or if I'm writing for no reason whatsoever? :)

More often it's a case of making anything worthwhile from the raw ideas, but I think such an entry would still be useful!

As a persistent problem, I think of idea-generation as a beginner problem. Write down all of your ideas and you'll have more of them (h/t Paul Graham). We're all subject to idea-droughts, though, so that might be an interesting angle to take.

Well, I have a large idea pile, but as they gather dust, the spark wears off. If you don't pick the flower, it'll die anyway.

Yeah, it happens to me on occasion, especially when I am trying for a conbook submission.
