Test drive a leaf!

Tugrik brought his new Nissan Leaf to the furmeet last night. He actually let me drive it. Even wearing all my motorcycle gear, the car was comfortable. I was pretty impressed at how well it drive, how responsive it was, and it was well appointed.
I want one!

Trouble is, the range would prevent me from taking it most of the places I'd want to take a rental car.
Great for someone just visiting town who wants a car, not great for a local who wants to get out for the weekend.
The Leaf is not not far off though. :3
Electrics have 100% torque from a standstill, thus are really nice to drive. Meanwhile, until the range barrier is knocked down, ye olde 92 geo metro does the trick for 90% of my driving.
