if you got three red lights Microsoft will fix it for free.

i only got i one light

make sure your xbox is turned off, take out the hard drive and then put it back in, turn your xbox back on, and let me know if you still have the red light.

i have tried that a few times and still the same so i ave to get reparied anyway so thanks for trieing to help m8 ;)

is your xbox vertical or horizontal?

i allways have it vertical standing up

never put your xbox vertical, it damages the disc drve which is why you got the error, put it horizotal and let me know if it works.

then you probably fucked up you disk drive too much by having it vertical, the first time i got three red lights i just turned my xbox horizontal and it worked, but i guess you've had yours vertical for so long that wont work. here is a pro tip for you tray loading disc drives were not meant to be vertical so when you have a game console with a tray loading drive keep that console horizontal to prevent it from breaking, slot loading drives like on the wii and ps3 are designed to be vertical so those systems can be stood up. you'll have to send it in and get it fixed by Microsoft, if you lie on their website and say that you got three red lights then they'll fix it for free, they never check to see if people are telling the truth cause they'll just send you a brand new xbox, but when you send it in you have to hang on to the harddrive if you leave it in your xbox when you send it in then your harddrive will be lost forever.
