What on earth am I thinking? AKA FurFright meme
14 years ago
Taken from
who took it from someone else, etc. Anyway, first con means first con meme! >.<
What day are you getting there?
Friday, pretty early, and should be there all three days.
Who will you be with?
and
Where are you staying?
My apartment, about an hour from the con.
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
I'll most likely be desperately clinging to
and
as they're the only people I know at all.
Are there any panels you might be attending?
I'll probably swing by any panel that has anything to do with writing.
Will you be suiting?
No.
What is your gender?
Male.
How old are you?
23
How tall are you?
5'11"
Can I talk to you?
Yes, feel free, though I specialize in awkward conversation.
Can I touch you?
You may shake my hand, but not much otherwise. I'm finicky about personal space with people I don't know (and even some I do) and can be somewhat high-strung.
How can I find you?
Be very lucky, or look for someone you know I'm with--even if you know what I look like, I'm good at blending into crowds, both by accident and on purpose.
Can I visit your room?
Again, I'm staying at my own apartment, not one of the hotels, so if you show up at my door I'll be very confused as to how you got there and also not let you inside.
Can I buy you drinks?
If you really want to buy me a soda, then go ahead, I guess.
Can I give you stuff?
Sure! Nothing wrong with free stuff.
Will you do art trades?
If you're really lucky and catch me in the right creative mood I might be interested, but it'd have to be completed post-con because I don't write well at all in crowded distracting environments.
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
If I feel I know you very well by the end of the con then a brief hug might be okay (though will more likely just be an awkward silence when you go for one and I want no part of it), but no snuggles.
Are you nice?
I like to think so, but I can get a bit tense in unfamiliar settings. I'll be doing my best to socialize like a good dragon, though. :P
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Walking over and saying hi is probably your best bet, though 'Hueroc' (pronounced h-WEAR-ock) is distinctive enough that I'll probably hear you if you yell it loudly enough.
Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
Wandering, I suppose. This is my first con so I honestly have no idea how it'll go.
What/where will you be eating?
Probably wherever those I hang out with go, and who knows where that will be.
Can I come with you for the food/fun/etc?
I don't know? We'll go on a case-by-case basis with this one.
What's your goal/s for the con this year?
To successfully go to my first convention, be social with other furs for the first time, and enjoy myself. And also live through the weekend, I guess.
Hopefully this will be lots of fun! >.<
