If you can set it up right, instead of an air mattress, maybe a 8' chloroprene weather balloon to lay down on :3. As long as there's two objects on either end like mattresses to keep it in place from rolling around, you should be good. And those things can inflate biiiig, and they're squishy, but just enough to suspend you in mid air 8D.

Maybe a GL1200 airshape balloon can do the trick aswell =p

Quite possibly! I just like having a round balloon stretch outwards instead of a long one... sometimes x3. plus if you're slick, you might slide off the GL1200 ;P. Hehe, but I certainly wouldn't discourage you from trying! ^-^

i heard oils and lubes destroys a balloon by attacking somthing in the latex and rubber

Yeah I heard lubes can be damaging to balloons, but the ones that are water soluble are the ones that are ok to use.
