Oh hi, how was everyone's holidays?
I'm sorry if I worried anyone with my last journal. I was in a really low place there and things had come to a head. I just had to let it out.
The good news is that I'm getting help. I'm going for a full physical next week, and I'm also seeing a psychiatrist to figure out of anti-anxiety medication is something that will help me. I believe it will, since I'm still worrying about things I have no control over, and those feelings are still eating me up inside. At least now I have opportunities to get better.
Thanks to those who posted comments and notes the last time. It's really touching to know that there are those out there who may be concerned for me.

This may not work for you but I hope it does. I only wish to see people happy :0
I was diagnosed with severe depression a couple of years ago and put on medication(Lexapro) in order to fight it. It helped for a bit, but then lost effectiveness; things got significantly worse and I ended up quitting it cold turkey after strongly considering killing myself at an especially low point. It was about then when I was introduced to a local therapist who specialized in a form of therapy called EMDR; I credit this man for saving my life.
I'm not saying you shouldn't take medication. However, I want to stress that medication, if used, should always be combined with actual therapy of some sort; treating the underlying issues of your anxiety as well as helping control things. There are plenty of medical professionals out there who are content on pushing pills on you and never actually sitting down and letting you hash things out. If anything, please find a professional who will actually help you conquer whatever is going on in your life, rather than hand you a script and schedule you for a follow-up in a month. If you're not receiving the care you feel you need, be vocal and be proactive. That helps immensely.
As before, I mentioned I really don't know you very well but I've been down a similar road. If there's anything I can help with, please let me know.
