Back with Internet, and my opinion on Steve Jobs

BEGIN TRANSMISSION
I don't wanna say that I'm glad he's dead, but I have no remorse. He may be a genius, but he's also a money grubbing ass who marks up his shitty products just so he can buy another solid gold stretch-hummer-boat-copter.
That being said, I hope they make Garage Band for PC now :D
...
Oh and I have internet now! I went and got comcast before work today, so internet will no longer be a problem for me. :3

And I don't like them cuzz they are over priced computers and phones and they are not any better then PC's they both freeze and both crash.
And both have there Hard disks crash as in post toasties death. xD
I like the saying "Computers suck" well cuzz they do doe's not matter what you use it's obsolete just like a car is obsolete cuzz there is always a better model of it out next year or sooner.
I get kind of annoyed when people suggest Apple created personal computing... that's kind of like saying America invented the automobile.... No.... that's both factually and historically wrong.
He didint even invent it.
He didint even create the original Apple.
What he did do, was take the risks and push the things most other companies were not willing to push.
Also, the Personal Computer, as it was named, was created by the Personal Systems Group at IBM Boca Raton.

remember: apple fired him for like 9 years once.
and then HE GOT HIS JOB BACK.
*magic*
but yeah i don't really give a shit either. he's grossly miscredited as an inventor and visionary when he's really just a marketer and idea man.
there was an apple one in a project box at the first west coast computer show in 1976, but, s-100 boards and kits (and the cp/m os that ran on them) had been around for four or five years, as had the elf-1, oliver paper tape reader, et al.
also the dragon, was a better apple two then the apple two. the moved the reset away from the enter key, something apple refused to do until they came out with the mack.
did the apple two beat the trasher 80, the t.i. 99 and the commodor vic 20 to market in 77? if it did it was only by moths if not mere weeks or days. and commodore had been already marketing the pet, at least a year, if not longer before the apple two hit the stores, and let's not forget clive sinclare over in gb, who came out with a color palmtop less then a year after that. or ohio scientific (i built 400 series board kits and my first computer that ran was an osi c1p. my second was a vic-20, predicessore to the c-64), or arny godbout, pickles and trout, et all, s-100 bus kits, and the motorola multi-bus was already around. no, the apple two, or even the apple one, were NOT the beginning of anything.
"and its, chin up me boys, never doubt never fuss, when you're integratin' systems on the s-100 bus"
Personally, I'll miss his innovate mind. I love my iMac, especially for Pro Logic, which if you like GarageBand it's like that on steroids, and the operating system. I really don't care about the PC v Mac debate, I use both of them and like them each for different reasons but I'm sure that won't stop raging fans from wanting you to stick to one side...same bullshit you see with console wars.
Well at least we share a bonding hate for greedy CEOs!
And yeah, Bill should have apologize for Vista...I remember when I backed up all my stuff on my PC and wiped it out just so I could downgrade back to XP O_o
And he should also apologize for the Xbox and the 360. Some good games came out on em, but you can't be releasing shit without testing first xD
Also, Jobs made all his money on Pixar and Disney.
And yes, he may have made a shit ton on pixar, but he still overprices his tech x.x
. . . plus i sorta doubt that he sets the prices for anything by himself (especially now =P)
and over all service of Apple was quite good. If I could afford it, I would honestly buy a macbookpro
for the reason that it's designer friendly and the screens are IPS, one of the only laptop brands that
have them.
Also, Without jobs, Adobe may have never gotten off the ground.
