For anyone who has stayed in a hotel (motels dont count):
If something bad happens, chances are it was the result of a very small mistake or no one's fault at all. Don't take it out on the front desk attendant on duty at 2am. I understand and I'm sorry your door lock isn't working. I already comp'd your room, and I woke up our only maintenance guy to come out here and fix the lock. There's nothing else I can do. And please, go ahead and call your attorney. He'll laugh his fucking ass off.
I feel bad calling you retarded, as you can't control your arms that well and you're already in a wheelchair... But you are most certainly, to some extent, mentally challenged. Go fuck yourself, old man. I'm trying the best I can.

But now I work at a restaurant where we still get a fair amount of idiot-jerks.
Side note - Some people in general are just horrible hotel guests.
Not only do you have the managers screaming at you for a piece of lint that you forgot to pick up off the floor! You got tenants that scream at you when you knock on their door and they don't want service. xC Just doin my job dude!

xC I stopped workin there shortly after one of the tennants got into the closet where the housekeeping supplies was and robbed me blind took my bag of stuff i took with me to work (i took the bus then) i had a REALLY nice CD player/headphones and about 15 CDs, wallet with like 30$ and everything else in it, my bus tickets and my really cool hat. I could have EASILY went into every room to look for it but they wouldn't let me. I can never get that player back or that hat ;_; I cant handle not being able to be comfortable in my work environment knowing my shit can be stolen even when its supposed to be safe. >>
At my place, we keep the housekeeping cart rooms locked, and the laundry room requires a code to get in :P
