Lawl, I felt the same at night indeed. I was scared as hell and thought: this is either an earthquake OR we're being kidnapped by aliens. :O The first time I actually experienced an earthquake! How epic! :3 Glad you found out what it was, or I'd have been still scared and wondering wth that was. xD

Yep. Was still up at 2:45am, artsing, because I couldn't sleep due to the hubby coughing all night...
At first I thought "WTF is that jet doing SO LOW?!" (thought it was a sonicboom) and then the next second, the whole house starts shaking for 30 seconds.
TOTALLY. FREAKED. OUT. All hair on me was like I'd been electrocuted. ON END EVERYWHERE.
Shut everything down, bolted to bed, had the worst, roughest sleep EVER in my life.

Felt like a 2.8 to me, learning it's a 3.3 today had me going "HOLYSHITWTF O_O"
I know we're in the middle of a tectonic plate, but...JESUS CHRIST I thought that idiot claiming the world was gonna end this week had SOME TRUTH IN HIS WORDS THIS TIME XD!
