Anyone see the solar storm last night?

Unfortunately it was after I had already went to bed, somewhere around 9-10 pm EST. But it sounds interesting enough. Every few decades the sun reaches a point of major activity with flares and on top of that every couple hundred years it is even larger then normal. We are right in the heart of the latter so keep your eyes pealed these might start happening a lot more often.
