Introducing the Púca
Hello, furrz!
I know a lot of you +Watch me for my artwork, but since I am not very active within the community, you may not know me. My name is Sam and I'm a Graphics Design major in Salem, MA. I made my fA account about one year ago, thanks to my furrend Makoim. The only use I've had for it is to upload my sexually explicit drawings to the internet. I know my furrends/scalends(lol?) appreciate it, as well as my watchers, even if I don't update my gallery as often as I should.
More about me. I'm not open about being a furry, I'm just not comfortable with it. When I'm hanging around other furrs though, I open up. I really wouldn't consider myself a hardcore furry, but I really love drawing anthropomorphic creatures... and I find myself attracted to them in questionable ways. As you can see from my gallery, I suppose!
As of late I never had a fursona. I've been trying to come up with a concept for years; none of them stuck. There was Vitta- the gazelle- and Correk- the tauren. They were just phases. My newest creation may as well be lumped in with them, but I have some hope. She's female, for one. Her race is something I had to make up, since I felt like I wouldn't be able to relate to anything already out there. I chose to work off of the idea of a Púca, which is a faery/goblin creature from Celtic lore. They're talented shape-shifters that are mischievous, but benevolent. Working on this, I redesigned this creature to resemble an odd mixture of a doe mixed with a... a.... I have no idea. An alien? They're cute though.
Anyway, this creature has three fingers and one opposable thumb on each foreleg and is able to stand and walk on its hindquarters. It's features are elegant and exaggerated-- I gave them very long, skinny limbs covered in shaggy fur. Standing upright, I'd assume it would be roughly seven feet tall (long neck, you know); on all fours, they might reach three feet at the whithers. I also gave this race the ability to gender-shift as a part of their inherent extra-normal shape-changing abilities. Males and females of this race can only be distinguished by the color of the inside of the mouth; males exhibit a bright orange mouth while females exhibit a vibrant blue. These colors may also glow in low-light conditions to attract weary prey. Biologically, I'd assume they would be solitary, or perhaps they'd live in small groups. Anywho, a friend said it was silly for me to think biologically of a supernatural creature... but I couldn't help but do it anyway.
Well, thank you for reading! I hope you can take something away with you. If you're interested in making a character that belongs to this weird new race of mine, let me know! I'd love to strike up a conversation with you. I'll have pictures of them up later.
Farewell!
