So I am more or less settled in London now. Doesn't look like I'll be finding a place... mostly because the agents are all assholes and a penny a dozen so finding a place is a chore. Anyway, that means I am out in fancy shamnshy no-man's-land Chiswick. Yeah, there is a high street, but it takes an hour to get from the flat to Russell Square. >_<

So far I have seen, since arriving in London, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Harakiri, Heike Monogatari, Anonymous, Tomboy, Jane Eyre, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, Memories of Matsuko, and Guilty of Romance. (Not including Rashoman, Yojimbo, Ringu, and Audition for class) I have also read portions of Palimpsest, all of Murakami Ryu's Audition, and starting in on Kamikaze Girls.

The job prospects look grim, research looks awesome. So I'm thinking of working on a blog to get some hipster analysis cred rolling. Maybe I could become a Midnight Eye contributor.
