Hey, nerds. <3 The Kickstarter project for the upcoming book for which I've designed a full-color poster and the book cover/jacket design needs your help.
We're at 30%, but anything you can do to support us will help get us to the finish line. $10 gets you the poster; $20 also gets you the book, $50 also gets you the signed hardcover. :) There are other, more awesome rewards, too. If we don't get full funding at the end of the 32 days we don't get anything at all, so if the book sounds like something you'd like to read (or you just want a copy of the poster I spent the past month painting), help us out. <3

haha! it's not my raiding group, unfortunately. I'm just the artist. Adam has a great group of friends and I think it's fun that he's writing books about his experiences. If I were still currently in an MMO with a raiding schedule I'd be gobbling these books up (though I still find them fun to read from a psychology standpoint).

I just love the real-world skills and social/teambuilding skills that MMOs have taught me. Seeing them applied in a book is kind of something I hoped someone would always do, and being a part of that is really great. Even if I'm not currently raiding in any game, it's a good example to non-gamers how MMOs aren't always just a huge waste of time. :P
