Personally, when I think of this question, I attempt to choose a Pokemon you'd enjoy. The options that come to my mind are as follows:

Houndour: For starters, this Pokemon sparks memories of the times you and I used to role-play that you were Steele from Balto. Although I have never asked you before, you seem to have a fascination for canine forms, and that might be comfortable for you when considering a new character. Secondly, the elemental types seem to suit you: Dark and Fire. I know you prefer to represent yourself as a powerful creature, which the aspect of darkness affords. Fire may not relate to you well, but you can always experience the joys of breathing fire. Lastly, you'd be freakin' cute as a houndour. CUTENESS shall reign supreme!

Krookodile: I shant lie. The moment I saw Krookodile, I just sort of stared down to his notable belly, and it reminded me of the times you have often been bounced around by friends you sought to surprise inflate you. Again, this is a Dark element Pokemon, but it is also a Ground sort. It is a Pokemon that matches your temperament with prey. Neither you or Krookodile allow prey to escape, which reflects well on your friendship instincts. If your friend gets hurt, you tend to pummel the source of harm. Hurray for your protection!
