Ironclaw 2nd edition confusion

Warning: Incoming Rant about game system
So, I have been trying to get into running Jadeclaw for a while for a few of my friends. However, I just could not get past the clunky game mechanic system. Add dice here, increase die size there...so when I got wind of Ironclaw being re-released but in 2nd edition, I was all "ooh, It is Jadeclaw, but maybe updated." So I picked it up. I was loving how much more streamlined they made the game. I loved how they took the 300+ pages of Jadeclaw and cut it to just over 100 pages (this is the core book I am talking about for both. Not the expanded books). Then I noticed yesterday at my local gaming store that there was a GM (game host) book. So far impressed with the Ironclaw 2nd edition I gave it a look...and had my hopes dashed. I found the rest of the rules they had cut from the core book in the GM book. The publishers did not even try to hide the fact that they cut what should have been one book into two. The core players book ends at page 120ish, and the GM picks up at page 120ish and continues on. Gahhh. Sadness and dissapointment ensued. So what only should have costed $45/$55 (for one big core book) is now costing the consumer $70+ (spread between two books) just to get all the core rules of the system. I am not impressed with the publisher, and now less inclined to buy anything more they produce. I would say save some money and if you must own the Furry RPG Gamesystem, get it from them on PDF.
TLDR: Ironclaw 2nd ed. could have been a good game, but publisher made very poor marketing and design decisions. Recommend buying the pdf or splitting the books with a friend.
Rant over. Thank you for bearing with.
