Lots of updates!

My body moves, goes where I will. But though I try, my heart stays still.
SO! I mentioned I had a job, and it's been going pretty well. The 8-hour shifts and irregular hours run me a little ragged, but the paychecks are nice. Plus, my manager is really good about letting you get time off, I didn't have any problem scheduling weekends off for Youmacon and MFF (yes, things are looking good for going, just gotta find a room yet).
Speaking of Youmacon, it's this weekend! I'm so pumped, you guys have no idea.
Also, today, I just signed the lease for my apartment and am all set to move in, working on moving some of my stuff in as soon as I close my computer. For a few hours at least, I gotta work at 3:30.
Wanted to get off a few quick things before I close this journal out though:
1.) The Persona 4 anime has bee debuting on AnimeNetwork.com and it's really freaking good. They've been doing such an amazing job with it, it's been handled expertly. Everything about the anime just oozes the style of the game in the best ways possible. On the flipside though, they also do a great job of transitioning the plot, characters, and setting from game to anime, so that it's still engaging to watchers who never played the game (this coming from my few friends who are watching the anime but haven't played P4). New episodes debut on the AN website every Thursday, the same day they debut in Japan, which is really nice.
2.) Mylo Xyloto is also really freaking good. I was a little worried that Coldplay wouldn't make something that would live up to Viva la Vida (in my mind anyway, since Viva is my favourite album), but holy crap did they deliver. It's both less and more adventurous than Viva, it's a bit more down-to-earth in exchange for some of the grandeur they went for in Viva's tracks, but they play around with some new style elements and experiment with a lot of lighter synths, and I think the results are just fantastic. Will it replace Viva as my favourite album? Dunno yet. I'd have to listen to it more to decide that. But it's certainly a contender. On a sad note, Chris Martin said it might be their last album, which is really god damn depressing =.=
3.) Going back to P4, if you're a fan, Never More ~Reincarnation: Persona 4~ came out not too long ago (the Persona 4 soundtrack remix album), and it's got a lot of really cool tracks on it. If you liked the P4 soundtrack, it's worth a download.
4.) Homestuck fans, HOW EPIC WAS THE END OF ACT 5? JEGUS CHRIST, IT JUST GETS BETTER THE MORE AND MORE I WATCH IT. UGH.
Sorry this was so hastily written, but now I gotta jet and move stuff! That's all for now =3
