I know I've come a long way, however oddly I view my more cartoony and comical submissions, and those got more views than my more serious stuff does now...

Its just wierd to see how you develop.

Cus it sneaks up on you. XD ive noticed it each time one joins a new website - i start off naive and excited, then gradually mature and become a normal person - for the website anyway.

you go from noob, to intermediate, then you become comical, then you mature, happens every time...

Artistically - My art style's gone through quite an evolution. It's developed a lot more and while the basic style might be similar, it's a lot more refined now. Particularly my backgrounds, hands and special effects have improved

In terms of my characters, they've developed a lot as well. I haven't gotten to drawing them yet, but the dynamics of my cast of four have really changed since i first drew them (Particularly Johairi). Those whom I've RPed with those characters will know them well.

Socially - I now have a small gang of regular friends, you included who I talk to regularly. I've made a lot of friends on this site and I do more socialising here than I ever did IRL. Socially I've gained a lot from this fandom which I do not regret one bit

We dont notice it when we develop until we have hindsight.

Yes, because the changes we make are gradual, so we get used to them as we change little by little. It's only when you see a very jarring before and after do you really see how much progress you made
