Ok, here you go. Special set of circumstances based on a character I'd actually worked up once.

Ranger. Weaponry was a hand crossbow and a +4 Keen, Vorpal Flachion. He wore a shadowed and silenced mithral chainmail suit, belt of giant strength, bracers of armor, sloves of dexterity, and boots of striding and springing.

If you'd like to know more, I might be able to find the old thing. Gods, it was years ago...

Hell, who knows, you might find this stuff an odd mix for a character to have and want to know more about Tolin and what he did. Battle worn, but skilled the old Drow was...

Perhaps Tolin and U'thar could get together over a few pints and share tales about their experiences in the underdark. A drow who renounces Lolth and becomes a paladin of one of the lesser gods of the deamonwebs doesn't exactly have a fun time in Menzoberanzan.

Perhaps they could meet up for that pint or three at Tolin's tavern.

Lemmie guess, retired from adventuring, bought a podunk shack in the middle of no where, lined the walls with trophies and suddenly a city built itself around the pub so they could hear more tales of heroic acts? Surprising how often that happens. Historians say that midieval cities built around keeps and castles based on serf systems and for the protection they provided, but we know the truth. The adventurers allowed the monarchy to enforce leins and castes on the peasants, they just kept it out of the history books.

Actually, it was a pre-existing tavern in a small mining camp on an island. He hadn't retired, he just bought it because no one stocked his favorite mead. It was also a convenient staging point for the party, as well as a nice, out of the way place to auction our found treasures(including the 17 foot tall Mythril Golem bodies) to those that might find use of them.

Oooh....I know a wizard who could use that much mythril...how much were they going for? ^_^

If bought as bulk mythril, they were 6000lbs, so they were going for 1800000gp a piece, but as finished golem bodies, we were selling them for 2000000gp, so a steal any way you could cut it

Mrrr.. if only I could remember... @_@ All I remember is having made a pally dedicated to Bast, so my mount was a big lion (I had to wear slightly lighter armor, I remember that...) And I had a sword and a lance... I swear I had the whole thing worked out once. >< So long ago! Hmm.. lawful chaotic I think, since Bast was a chaotic goddess. ^^; I had such a nice GM, letting me get away with such nonsense. lol ><

Just ignore my nonsense if more people that make sense come along. ^^; If you really wanna give it a try though, go for it... :p

I'll give it a try, just to see how it turns out. Good choice of diety, too...

wow...druidic necromancer, neutral good no less, with two bits of wood, one with string, one without, and a food knife....okie dokie, though I'm guessing you took a major XP penalty with those cross classes.
