I'll be showing my artwork and talking about it. Kindof the background of each piece and such. What my motivations were. What I had trouble with. What went well. Why do I do things the way I do. Stuff like that.

I wont be suprised if there are people in the center of the crowd with their hands down their pants. *hugs* Wish ya luck with this, i could never speak in front of that many people.

Oh god xD i could never go in front of people and talk freely about my adult art, specially if in that crowd i know there are some sick furs that might right even at that moment paw off and spurt all over their front viewer, YUCK, just the image makes me almost puke. I'd really be interested to know how the adult panel went at FC. Things like how many attended, how many presenters there were, what they talked about, audience reactions and such.

Anything you could say about it for those of us who couldn't attend would be appreciated!

It was a double room this year. I'd guess... 200 people? Last year (the first year for it), it was in a single large room, and it was crowded all the way out the door. This year, a lot of people were there. A lot also missed it because they thought it was on Saturday rather than Friday. Apparently they can't read schedules.

Anyway...

The panel was basically about dragon sex. Talking about movies, novels, etc. The most of the panel was dragon artists showing their art projected on a wall and talking about each piece and fielding questions. There was a substantial amount of new top notch dragon porn that debuted at the panel.

There were... I would guess a dozen artists or so. Most of them much better than me.

Certainly the audience appreciated all the hot scaly porn. There were also a lot of questions about things like why particular aspects of dragons were drawn particular ways. What motivated you to draw X thing or Y part.

I got a big cheer from the crowd for the notion of me making more artwork. So I guess people must like my stuff some. It's still hard for me to accept that I guess. I haven't really considered myself a real artist, much less a good one. But, I guess after that panel... well, some people were refering to me as not only a good dragon artist, but a 'famous great artist'. It was freaky. I dunno. I felt pretty outclassed by the other artists there.

Kiteless did a really great job with the whole panel. He's such a talented narrator. The whole thing went off very well.

200 people is quite a turnout. Nothing like porn to pack people in, is there.

That's got to be an unusual experience getting up in front of that many people to show adult artwork. I don't think I'd have the courage to do that.

And I'm glad to hear that people there were encouraging you to produce more. You've got some really nice pieces in your gallery and it would be great to see more.

Thanks for the run down on what occurred. I do appreciate it! Hopefully they'll run the panel again next year and maybe I'll be able to go.
