***Ramblings of a Cave Burr*** After a long conversation today, I think some things need to be put out in the open.
People say that some things doesn't matter because Kenai's just a character. And Characters aren't real people.
To me... Kenai isn't just a character. He is a representation of my spirit.
I'm a therian.
Kenai is my totem. He's my spirit who drives my emotions and helps me to make decisions. He's kind, caring and always puts the needs if others before his own. I wanted people to know now why I've been getting so worked up now over people flirting with my boyfriend and the public display of jealousy.
Sen is Kenai's boyfriend. I see Sen as a place-holder for my relationship with Jamie, my boyfriend.
Sen is Jamie.
Kenai is Gareth.
Those two are together as much as Gareth and Jamie are. I am extremely attached to them at the moment because, as Me and Sen are in a long distance relationship, the bond between Kenai and Sen represent our currently none existent physical bond.
So when you say that Sen is just a character... to me he means much, much more than that.
He's not a character. He's part of Kenai, and thus a part of my spirit.
I hope I made sense.

I feel both my fursonas are partly a totem spirit to me. I know, and don't think Koala's are really a proper native american spirit like a cow is... however, my koala fursona is like my bond with leftie... she was made when he gave me a little koala plush, that I treasure so much <3

I must admit, I know little of the Therian ideas, but if you are an example, you are a positive one. I hope people understand a little better and are less fword-ish around you and towards Sen.
