I knew homosexuality was an everyday occurance with dolphins, but I didn't know that many species of dolphins -only- have same sex life mates, from which they only part temporarily to reproduce with the opposite sex and then return to there same sex partener. Discovered from a National Geographic vid I was shown and can be found here:

Very interesting and shows dolphin mating for all of you that are into that sort of thing.. sickos ;)

Whoa … was I bored or what? Sorry for spilling shyte you already knew in your journal. A rant-y waste of space, tl;dr. Apologies.
I havent seen such videos.
D.O.P.R
Seriously though, there is homosexual behaviour with a ton of animals (in the hundreds, at least), not to mention the occassional cross species (which I would think would be bestiality for animals XD)
I find it so amusing because when I point out the fact that homosexuality is quite common in nature to religious fanatics, and list off several species it's well documented in, they deny it with all their being that it's just lies or not real or make up some excuse. (Like because we can make the decision NOT to engage in it, that makes it bad for us to do so.)
I laugh and call them idiots. It's insane how hypocritical some people can be!
Great find. :)
Plus I see there's more fundies to smack with the cold hand of scientific logic.
FUN!
that might be a bad answer though, they will definitely say \"oh so ur so horny u wanna suck everybody\" ^^;
Personally, I think it is very cool.
I favorited it immediately after I saw it.
To be honest I'm STHIS FULL of people fussing over homosexual animals. I don't understand why they are supposedly so interesting. Homosexuality is really damn boring trait(or maybe my interest has died because I'm such a bilogy-goddamn-nerd that I read every new thing and this has grown old) I mean, two creatures that like to mate and snuggle. uh. that's what animals do when they feel like it. so what.
Okay, rant over.
I would never expect that to be true. Well, that takes out the whole 'unnatural' argument for the church, even though humans have been doing so since the greeks.
And I put my two cents on the vid, and faved it.
