Are there any decent FPS games released nowadays?

Been playing a lot of TF2 recently, which got me thinking... I didn't see a single decent FPS game released for about a year.
I don't read gaming magazines (they tend to lie a lot), so I only know of the most popular games and this might be the reason. So can you give me an advice? This can be a singleplayer-focused game or even not strictly FPS, I don't care - I just want to play something new.
Please, don't tell me about BF3 (bugfest with no patches) and MW3 (facelifted Black Ops)

Games I'm waiting for (I hope they won't be so horrible):
Planetside 2, Tribes: Ascend, Serious Sam 3, Xonotic (when it's done :), Super Monday Night Combat and anything by Valve :D

Hm. Now that I think about it, all the FPS games I've been playing lately are from before 2000.
I only had two problems playing it:
1. Electric chimera on Agroprom, had to reload the game several times to kill it in one shot (F-1 grenade).
2. Russian version has a bug that won't let you save/load on Yantar. Imagine completing it in a single run?
I will say after so many times playing through, I only needed one run through yantar. And an F1 grenade, and a G36 and a SPAS12 haha
Very fun if that is what you are looking for.
On steam for only $40 (yay not $60 game)

ArmA 3 will be releasing soon, one of the most realistic shooters out there, team-work is a must, oh and did I mention in ArmA 2, you have over 130+ vehicles from C-130J's to M1A1 battle tanks, and 80+ Weapon variants.
Agreed about BF3, its an utter bugfest right now and has some severe issues even on my very powerful gaming rig (Namely going OMNOMNOMM and eating up all of my ram and then stuttering a ton until i restart the game) it is still pretty fun at times though
Beyond that, i think of all the stuff i've played really, i agree the FPS genre seems to be stagnant at the moment...
Warhammer 40k Space Marine, REALLY fun as hell :3 pretty good multiplayer too
Don't hold out for Tribes Ascend: It'll be free to play but it's looking to be a little meh. Too much normal guns and too much deathmatch play (IN the closed beta anyhoo.)
I'm looking forward to Firefall myself.
This while you're moving 100-150 km/h down and up hills, makes for a fun, difficult game. Introduce regular insta-hit pistols and guns and going 100 km/h is almost pointless since they can just put the crosshair on you and click. That kind of removes the point of Tribes, imho.
