Never had I had to do something so hard, as I have done this morning. I had to break bad news to a man, that I both respect and love, that would shatter his heart, and steal away one of his most precious dreams. A pain as bad as death, is the loss of a loved one, when they must leave you, and travel a different path in life. I wish there was something I could do, I feel so helpless. I have failed him. The bittersweet fact that his love is safe, will be loved, and cared for offers little comfort in the emptiness without her. In their short time together I have never seen him happier, but apart I have never seen such anguish, except that which Hollywood creates.

So again I ask would it be so bad if life was fair? How much worse could that be?
