Need a good, free .wav file edit program.

I have an audio track where about 30 minutes in, the left and right channel go out of sync. and I would like to edit the file so they are back in sync. Anyone know a good free editing program that lets you cut and paste individual channels?

Audacity is free and good for normal use. I can't recall if it can edit separate channels, but you can give it a try.
