Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3?

LETS HAVE AN ALL OUT FANBOY FIGHT RIGHT HERE AND NOW!!!
I don't wanna hear about your PC being better than my Xbox 360 or his PS3. WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! To say that Battlefield 3 is the better game :p and you can't say you can't compare these games cause they're two entirely different games. WELL YEAH?! I'm comparing them RIGHT now. They both involve shooting noobs :D
Also I play on the Xbox 360 :3
Comments not relating to either game will be removed.

But yes, BF3 of those two.
I hear MW3 is not living up to expectations at all. Besides, Battlefield is more tactical and (at least for me) that'd more fun than just running in there and shooting.
i will get MW3 too, but dunno when. wanna play the storys end and im curious for that survival mode :)
Bad Company 2 is better than both. DAT M9
I like call of dudy, but they're trying 'too hard' to make their games different and new.
Battlefield keeps things simple and enjoyable
Each new installment fro the series feels more like a glorified expansion pack more than a new game :/
They're still fun to play for a month or so before they start to wear on me.
BF3 looks more realistic but we are playing to have fun so i pick MW3 over BF3 and MW3 has decently good graphics much improved from mw2 actually.
Modern Warfare was an amazing game, MW2 was kinda meh, iffy, and Black Ops was not all that appealing to me. I'm hoping that MW3 will make the franchise worth playing again.
That said, I own MW3 and sold my BF3 because I have a lousy internet connection.
but bf3 for grapichs
for me i hate bf3 loll
Modern warfare is always the same shit, different story lines, but that's all. You're basicly buying the same game three times, since most people get online to play.
I'm with xbox 360 :p
The whole thing about BF3 is capturing realism, and I was amazed at how well they did it. The happenings in the campaign were fully believable, and the multiplayer is huge.
One: Better emotions. I know, it probably sounds kind of odd... But I mean come on, soldiers, regardless of how much training they've had, aren't some robot that can shoot and kill dozens of people in a matter of seconds and NOT feel something. With MW3, it felt well...stale. And quite frankly, unrealistic in almost every sense.
Two: Better online gaming. I'm so sick and tired of listening to heavy-breathing 25yr old guys thinking they're a demi-god because they reached w/e level cap there is in 30 hours straight all because they know how to blindly wave an automatic boom-stick at a general direction of someone else and claim one kill after another. With BF3, IMHO, you actually have to aim and work with other players to achieve your ultimate goal. There's no "Look at me! I'm standing in a single room with only one door way with my giant boom stick pointed right at it." It's more like, "Look at me! I'm standing in this corner and I'm going to fuc-*BOOOOOOM!* ...Wait...what? What happened to the wall that was just here? Wait...I'm dead!"
Three: BF3 is fresh... It's new... It's something else other than freaking Modern Warfare. I'm sorry but I gotta rant about this for a bit. I am just so fucking sick and tired of hearing all these whiny fan-boys bitch and moan and whine and complain and mewl about Modern Warfare and how it's the greatest game every and they always use MW2 as a ruler for how "epic" another shooter game is. All I ever seem to hear are these following comments, "O.M.G. It's NOTHING like MW2!"(as a negative not a positive) or "O.M.G. It's TOO MUCH like MW2." I mean...really? By no means is MW2 the first shooter of its kind, nor is it the only shooter of its kind. And I'm sorry to say people but MW2 isn't exactly all that great either nor original. And people are now starting to say the above things about Black Ops...
I'm just really glad that BF3 finally came out and I can finally enjoy a shooter that's more tactical and not just "Okaaay...time to kill a bunch of n00bz for the 30,000,000,000,000th time. 8D"
one: dying way to many times by noobs in prone
two:i feel like i acomplish nothing when i level up or unlock weapon attachments
three:this was made perposly better on the pc and the consle get down graded because of it and no 64 players no dedicated severs no stupid glichtes in multi they shoved all the bad stuff onto consles because call of duty was more consle based then pc the two companys where having a flame war call of duty won my heart for three reasons
One:the campain is a milloin times better then battlefeilds even though its forgettible
two:it feels better when i unlock things andd extra modes extra verity a cool elitle system and facebook intergrated
3:i didn't experince the stupid problemns i faced in other titles where noobs are not that much of a problemn with the right gun unlike battlefeild where it feels like forever before you get a good gun even then you get sniped constantly and shotguns and snipers are ovepowered where call of duty balnced it
so i'm glad cod came out butb glad bf3 came out as well more or less i felt eqaul with the games both fun one was more addicting though call of duty mw3 sorry thats just my honest oppion
And glitches wise, each console is going to have it's own set of different glitches no matter what game it is.
As for graphics, well any game that comes out on the PS3 and 360 and PC, will generally look better on the PC simply because PC's are able to handle better graphics because they can be upgraded.
Also with the dedicated servers, IMHO one reason why the PC version of BF3 got dedicated servers is mainly do to hackers. Even when games are set up on Steam's servers, hackers can easily slip in and ruin a multiplayer game for everyone where as with consoles, it's much, much harder to hack, next to impossible. That being said though, I'm not sure why they decided to have the major difference in online players numbers. My best bet would be that most PC users would have rigs that could handle that amount of information/strain on their graphics cards with the added players than consoles would be able to because regardless of the difference in graphics, for consoles this is quite a large step-up graphics wise.
For me BF3 has a realistic story line and even though the campaign story itself doesn't have much replay value, the game play of it does more so than MW3 because, as the makers of MoH: Airborne said, most FPS games are like roller coasters. Everyone is going to experience the same thing.
BF3 is much more an open world experience than MW3 is as well as several other FPS games. This has been their trade mark. This has what made them so fiercely popular when BF2 came out, as well as BF: Bad Company 1&2 as well as having semi-destructible environments. This being said, yes their maps are larger and yes things go at a noticeable slower pace than MW3 where the maps are much more defined or what I like to call, "Open Arena."
As for your voice issues, if I'm not mistaken I think you can independently control the volume of voice chatter in the options menu. I should remind you though that the issue of annoying users using voice chat to do annoying things isn't restricted just to this one game. It happens in pretty much all games.
All of this being said though. I *PERSONALLY* like BF3 over MW3. If you like MW3 over BF3 then that's your preference and I'm not here to change that. I'm just simply stating a few facts and a few of my own opinions. There's no need to get hot headed over this.
But i also bought MW3 cause i want to know how the story ends after i played the previous 2 Games of Modern Warfare. And yeah, i'm really curious about the Survival Mode in it.
In Battlefield 3 its VERY team oriented. Though you can be a baller and be on top of your team in kills, you can still lose VERY badly. You also might go 15 - 30 seconds depending on the map without seeing an enemy.
Modern Warfare 3 is pretty much every man for himself. You normally wont go 10 seconds without running into the enemy. Also Xbox Live bro's like to shit talk about their "skill" and base every ones "coolness" off how many kills they get. Plus the shit talking really is top notch.
I have both and love both for different reasons. They play VERY different. As many people have said, BF3 plays a lot slower than MW3.
MW3 is my "I just wanna kill shit quickly and talk shit online about how I had sex with some other players mom last night" game.
BF3 is my "I still wanna kill shit... I just wanna be more stealthy and my kills have to be earned." game.
Actually, get skyrim instead.
All of those saying that MW3 is faster paced, sometimes that's true. Battlefield 3 on TDM and the map Grand Bazaar can be fast paced as well. I've been a battlefield fan since Battlefield 2, and prior to playing that I played the original Modern Warfare, and thought that was the best game ever, until I played Bad Company 2.
Another thing is: VEHICLES!!! Holy shit, this makes the game much better because who doesn't want to fly a jet? YOu got Tanks, LAVs, APCs, Jeeps, Jets, and Helicopters running around the place. You've also got an AA Turret at each main base on conquest.
Camping a building is a bad idea! The walls can be blown out AND the building can come down. Take that CoD campers.
Better Scopes/Sights/Attachments for your weapons. You can put a flashlight on and then go blind your enemy in close quarters, or put a laser module on and blind people at a distance. The IRNV (Thermal) Scope actually WORKS. YOu don't see everything in nearly the same color BARELY being able to see anything (MW2)
SUPPRESSIVE FIRE! This is one of the big ones. If you are behind cover and getting shot at, your vision blurs making it harder to see and aim. I'm sick of people in CoD getting shot at and then killing me with a single shot. The fuck?
KNIFE KILLS: These are redone to make it harder because in real life, you can just slash someone across their body armor and kill them, that vest is designed to take a bullet. You now actually ahve to come up behind someone to get a knife kill. Which also brings me to this: I'm sick of someone knifing me from TEN FUCKING FEET AWAY, and getting a kill, or even when I'm out of their FoV. In CoD you also can't do anything when someone starts the "knifing animation". You're dead and nothing you can do about it, unless you had a grenade in your hand.
Grenade kills are a shit ton harder to get because it is based on a REAL LIFE explosion using the SAME type of ammunition, not a stick of dynamite. There is also no such thing as a "n00b tube", you have to be able to aim. to get a kill.
Weapon Sounds: I love to hear a weapon sound that is either TRUE to the weapon's sound, or comes damn enar close. It sound like the guns in CoD were made using a synthesizer with heavy bass. It sounds like utter shit.
Realistic movement is so much fun. I hate how you have to wait until you get to a barrier to press a button JUST to jump over the barrier. In BF3 you can jump a bit before the barrier if you're sprinting and you'll be over that barrier. You can dive a LOT better and getting a kill while getting up from prone is hard to do.
Reviving teammates is a ton of fun :3
Multiplayer: It's fun as hell and SERVER BASED!!!! CoD games are on the Live network (totally shit) and PLAYER HOSTED. Which means if the host has shitty internet, you're fucked. If your host is on the other side of the earth, you're probably fucked.
Storyline: It's pretty brutal.
NOW
I won't completely hate on Modern Warfare BECAUSE the story is actually good for a multiplayer-focused game. I won't buy CoD games anymore but I wouldn't mind playing the story to see what's going on and how it pans out.
But online-wise, BF3
Still, I wish RPGs had the kind of love here that shooters do. Sadly, all the RPG love is hogged by Japan (South Korea for MMORPGs), while America is lucky for a bone thrown once a year.
But my boyfriend plays BF3 on the PC, it was his birthday present from me.
So we both shoot noobs and enjoy it :P
But honestly I think both games are great and fun to play, but I enjoy BF3 a bit more just cause of the sense of accomplishment and teamwork you get from your squad.
