You can do something. Don't be quiet. You can say things anonymously.

*Sigh* This whole situation is beyond terrible. 8+ lives are forever ruined thanks to Sandusky. Worse, the number may have never gotten that high, or even appeared, if people had acted morally to put an end to the suspicous and wrongful behavior that waa seen and reported. :(

*Sigh* I'm actually a Penn State alumni and it saddens me to know the college that once was something proud to note I graduated from is now known more for Sandusky and scandal than a reputable instituation of higher education. I'm sure other graduates feel the same way as they realize how the power behind their Penn State degrees has dropped like a rock now that interviewers will see that note in our education blocks and think, "Oh, the immoral school!" instead of "Hey! That's a great place!"

On one plus, for me, I can at least say I got my Masters from Clarion, which is another PA State University. Though, it really bites knowing how the horrific behavior of a small few can make the lives of so many so miserable. The victims themselves are, of course, the ones my heart goes out to. Though, the collateral damage will extend far beyond the trials as Penn State will never again have the solid reputation it once had as a result of unethical behavior. :(
