It's under the name K'sharra. Are you allowed to do that? I thought they banned you from using Google, GMail, Youtube and everything else they run, permanently and with no avenue for appeal, the first time you fail to publicly reveal your real name and identifying information. (That's why I refuse to have a G+ account.)

yep thats still their policy - as soon as one person reports the page the google mods will suspend the account

Actually, they've allowed companies and organizations on now. As she's acting in her business function, not personal, it's a different ball of wax.

Actually it looks like either you're double wrong or their page is, because they say no business accounts, but that the suspension won't prevent you from using those other services.

I've heard of it happening. Maybe it was policy until they more recently made the official policy you point to. Unless I can be searchable as D'Otter and not searchable by my real name, I'll pass.

It's set up as a Page, I have an account under my real name, so it's perfectly valid.

You make a personal account, then next to your little profile pic there's a dropdown under your name where you can Manage your pages. You create a page, give it a name, and BAM! Go!

Thanks. It sounds good. I still have concerns about security, though. I'll have to think about it... but this helps.
