Hmmm I know many of my furry friends IRL... most I only get to see at cons. I'd say I only get to see about maybe 7 or 8 of them frequently because they live around here, and I didn't meet any of them IRL first... I've met them all either on the internet or met them at a con.

Ditto. I don't really think a lot of the people on here are true "furries" but it's an easy word to use to describe the lot of us. I mean shit, were the Egyptians furries?

The Egyptians used to stick hot pokers up dead peoples' noses to take their brains out, so I don't know what that made them XD

But yeah...I don't know. People look through my sketchbook and I get a lot of, "What's with all the weird animal people?" (or, if they're familiar with the internet: "FURFAG LOL")

A friend of mine has taken great delight in calling me a furfag, she does the furry thing too, but less so, but she's started just using it as a general insult and noooo one gets it.

Quite a few of them, dear. A few of them was the con deal, but we'd see eachother a few times in the year at various events, so that gets to "outside con" friends pretty quick.

Living in Dallas will do that, it's one of the "Furry Meccas" around the US. I think there's about 50-60 furs just in the Dallas area that are known, and they just keep coming, new people every week.
