I think it's cool that they were able to do this and build a racecar based on the 'Vette, but in doing so, the car loses uniqueness because it had to designed to look like the other racecars according to the comp rules.

Cool? You betcha. Coolest? Falls short.

This isn't the first time it's been done with the Corvette. Back in the 80s they did a GTP version that, initially, wasn't even powered by a Corvette engine(the rules were that open)

I rather like it, it looks a lot better than the last gen Riley chassis. Coolest ever, no. Coolest Daytona prototype, by far.
