Moments after posting my previous journal it was mentioned to me that a CG sequence of the animation we're looking into would be a good fallback plan if the animation plan falls through. The previous request for info is still ongoing, however.

Most of the same factors are in play except that we're now looking for someone who's good with anime-style artistry, and we'd like someone who can jump in and get it done in a reasonable amount of time as well - we don't want to still be waiting on this come February. We're probably gonna know within the next day if we can even do the animation option, and if the answer is no, we shift immediately to this.
