I'm pleased to hear your new laptop has arrived, and its fast! lol I know how excited I was when I got my new laptop....I was blown away by how quickly it worked! hehe
im amazed at the speed, i got up this morning and switched it on and went for a whizz (the old laptop would be about halfway booted when i came back) when i came back it was sat there having loaded everything in less than 15 seconds
Wow! Awesome stuff...that is quick! I can understand why you love it so much...all that speed, there'll be no stopping ya now, so you'd better hold onto yer hat going that fast! hahaha I'm just the same with mine, I nearly fainted at it starting up in less then a minute, compaired to my old one which would take about 10 minutes on a bad day! rofl
yeah, my first laptop (optimised for Windows ME but was running XP) took an age to boot, but it wasnt bad, did everything i needed it too, but this is like amazing ^^
Oh, thats good, rather like my old 2003 Samsung, which was good and served me well, did everything I wanted, but this last year or so, it just went downhill quite quickly, until it literally blew up one evening..complete with burning smell too! lol But if your first one was starting to take a while to boot up, then it sounds like the best time to have upgraded to a new one.
yeah the old one did serve me well, the next one i got was an upgrade but it didnt come with a power pack so i got a universal one and it got so hot it fused into the plug and snapped the connections and that died pretty quickly
Lol, so I won't have to buy you one of those air fresheners then...the one named 'New Computer Scent' for you to hang on the corner of the screen! rofl
That didn't sound very good, if it got hot enough to melt the plug...there was some seroius heat there to do that, for sure. I'm convinced the power pack is what blew up my last laptop. It went with a 'crackling' noise then just shut down. When I picked up the power pack, it was seroiusly hot, so I'm thinking it spiked the internals. Ah well, it made me get a new one anyway...which I had been meaning to do for sometime! haha
Hehe, okay, sure thing! Here ya go...*opens up a box and floods the room with fuzzy dice* I have lots of them in varying colours and sizes, but they all have the same number of spots, so the choice is yours! lol
Yeah, it does sound pretty weird...maybe a badly made unit or something like that which caused it to melt. But definetly not a good thing to happen! Well, yeah like you say, at least now we both are up to date...it took me a while to get around to it too,so don't worry about it! hehe
I just kept thinking, maybe I should get a new laptop...yeah, I'll look tomorrow....then, I'll look tomorrow, I'll look tomorrow....BANG!...oh, bother! hahaha
i love it
Ah yes...breathe in that new laptop smell! hehehe

i think the plastic insulation melted and fused it, was weird though
still at lease were both more up to date, took me long enough
