Watch out for this guy at MFF and possibly other cons. Whether or not the dog actually provides a service for the owner is irrelevant when it's got such bad behavior; when stuff like this happens, security has every right to eject them both, because it's putting people and other service dogs in danger.
Service dogs don't need formal training, but are expected to behave in public and especially while working. I don't care what phony-baloney excuse you come up with for bringing your pet to MFF, there's no reason for shit like this to ever happen. You're just making people who ACTUALLY NEED a service dog look bad.
Maybe he's got the Assburgers.

Please note that only service animals as defined in 28 CFR 36.104 of the Americans with Disabilities Act are permitted in the convention function space and function space hallways no other animals will be permitted in those areas. Exceptions will be made for the convention-designated charity organization(s).
Sad that folks just slap an orange vest on their pet and call it a service animal. I mean, I'm not sure who they have to show anything to (Validation to the hotel and all I am sure) but it's loose and makes others with disabilities suffer. Oh well.
I know its not required but all he has is one of those crudely printed service dog ID cards you can buy on the internet without any proof of a need.
