is it bad if the casing on a laptop starts to crack? i came home and there was like a huge crack in the side of the casing, by the keyboard. .__. as you all know, i can't afford a new laptop. right now, there's literally a bandaid on it holding it together, and surprisingly, it's doing a fairly good job. XD i drew a :D face on it! XDD

Nah, nothing really to worry about a crack in the case. Just put glue or tape over it so dust doesn't get into the side.

okay! :3 do you think it could have something to do with my computer overheating? o3o it's been getting awfully hot lately.

Probably not. cases are very resistant to heat. I'd say it was damaged in a fall of some sort.

It might be the case(lul), but honestly I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just patch it up with some sealant or tape.

Comi is right.. The case is just that.. A case.. its when the stuff inside get damaged.
