I might be back. I don't really know. I'm bad at the whole anthro thing now, I just like animals and working on actual human anatomy and shit.
Still.
Let's try this one again, now with better animal knowledge. No Google, no Wikipedia, no anything.
IF YOUR FURSONA WAS:
a general airborne species: Yellow-headed caracara
a general aquatic species: Blue lipped sea krait
a general invertebrate: Avicularia versicolor (Antilles pinktoe tarantula)
an amphibian: Hmm, I'm not great with amphibians. Axolotl as a cheat here.
a bird: ... yellow headed caracara? Alternatively, pennant-winged nightjar.
a canine: Blanford's fox
a caniform carnivore (excluding canines): Marbled polecat <3
a dinosaur: Graciliraptor
a feliform carnivore (excluding felines): Banded palm civet orrr ring tailed mongoose orrr brown hyena
a feline: Colocolo, caracal, sand cat, dinofelis... I dunno, I like cats too much.
an insect/arachnid: Tarantula again, or blue spotted charaxes butterfly.
a marsupial: Antipoline wallaroo
a microoganism: Oh, crap.
a mythical species: Bakeneko. Actually, I'm probably going to keep this one as it fits my "essentially feline but can't stick with any species ever for too long".
a primate: I'm bad at primates too. A tamarin or marmoset of some sort.
a reptile: If not the krait, ummm... bush viper? The red phase ones are gorgeous.
a rodent or lagomorph: Prevost's squirrel, or a Luzon cloud rat whatever they're called.
an ungulate: I'm bad at ungulates. Tufted deer? I like the fangdeer.
a mammal in a group not listed above: I dunno, you covered all of Carnivora so I'm pretty happy. Still, chiroptera? Afrotheria? Xenatheria? Monotremes? What have I missed?
Still.
