MFF 2011, and my requests of con-goers.

Is this really the first journal I've written here? How neglectful of me. But on to business:
MFF was very awesome. I met some new folks, and hung out with lots of folks I've known for awhile, but many of whom I hadn't talked to so much in the past year. It's great to catch up with everyone.
And the amount of random furries being irksome was pretty low. But I would like to recommend two things to con-goers out there that I would like to see catch on:
1. Stop babbling about how drunk you are/were/are going to be. It's fine to enjoy drinking and its various effects, but really, if you speed-walk past me without tripping over yourself, and then talk about how hammered you are without even slightly slurring, then I know you are just a little buzzed. I know you think it makes you look cool to talk like this, but all it does is tell us you don't really know what being drunk is. And whether you're a little buzzed or actually falling-down drunk, nobody's impressed. These are not difficult things to do, especially at a furry con.
2. And don't randomly start talking to me about whatever happens to be on your mind if I don't know you. It's great to have conversations that are back-and-forth (that's what conversations are), but if you just walk up to me and start talking about your drive down or your latest purchase or something about which I have nothing to say and no reason to be interested in, all I'm going to do is want to get away from you, keep looking away hoping you'll get the hint, and then mock you when I do get away. I'm sure the fourteen hours you spent driving to the con were interesting to you, but that doesn't mean it warrants even fifteen seconds of attention from a complete stranger.
But that cynicism aside, I greatly enjoyed myself, and am looking forward to Further Confusion in January.
