Name- Sjo
Age- to be determined.. does not look very old, but that says nothing.
Species- human/goldfish hybrid, mermaid.
Features-
Hair Color- brownish red with streaks of copper, very very long, but not quite long enough to give Rapunzel a run for her money.
Interesting features- Pointed ears, pointed teeth and nails, transparent webbing between the fingers,gold eyes, copper colored scales here and there.
Note- She looks pretty human until you either spill a cup of water on her, giving her a tail, or you get close enough to see the webbing or scales, which look almost like freckles.. almost. When she is in water or splashed by it, she tends to have a copper and gold tail, very similar to a fancy gold fish. The fins themselves are a transparent orange, copper and gold. She also, has the same kind of dorsal fin, and something that looks like a fin on the back of her elbows.. not sure if very functional or just decorative.
Personality/Quirks-
Sjo is very curious, gets into everything, loves to tinker and is generally distracted unless she is terrified. She can be jumpy, excitable and a bit high strung. Part of that has to do with being a 'fish out of water'. Literally. The worst thing that makes her jump would be the fact that she is away from water, but terrified of being splashed by it, if say she is on land. To combat this, she generally carries an umbrella in her messenger bag as well as a mister (to keep from drying out), salty snacks (to replace the salt), and yet more water. To replace the salt and water you will often see her pouting salt into a bottle of water to drink. She also wears sunglasses to hide the gold eyes and scales. She prepares for things to the point of almost being somewhat neurotic. Her worst trait, is scavenging bordering on theft.
Likes- Sea weed, chips and humus, sea glass, dolphin mp3 player (underwater mp3), lace, music and music boxes, junk.
Dislikes- Nets, being splashed, drying out, greasy food, doctors, and pirates.
