I have been doing this on and off for five years now. My first teacher was a classmate, she got me started with basic anime sketching skills.

Then I ran into Mark Wulfgar's *ahem* more "open" work. After that, I discovered this website. Blazingcheecks caught my attention after that. The color, the shading, the shadow work, all expertly done. I never been this inspired in my entire life. There were nights when there's nothing but sketching and inking.
