Holy crap...

I grew up with her books, and they did nothing but fill my mind with images of dragons. I'm really gonna miss her stories and wonderful imagination. A sad day indeed. Rest in peace.

She was a major influence in my formative years. I read much of what she wrote in both fantasy and SF. In fact I read every single Dragonriders book she wrote earlier this year. She will be sorely missed.
